Lok Adalat Date 2024: If you break traffic rules while driving and get a challan (fine), it’s not surprising. But what if your challan is issued by mistake? If your challan has been issued mistakenly, you can have it waived. People often get frustrated with incorrect challans, but there’s no need to worry because we’re going to tell you how you can get the challan reduced or waived off.
For your information, the government organizes Lok Adalats (People’s Courts) periodically for the convenience of the people. The benefit of the Lok Adalat is that if a person’s challan has been mistakenly issued, they can settle it by obtaining a token and appearing in court. However, you need to register beforehand.
Additionally, you will need to upload the necessary documents on the government portal for this process. After completing this, you will be given a time slot indicating when you need to appear in court and the specific room you need to go to. When you arrive at the designated time, you can present your case, or you can hire a lawyer to present it on your behalf.
