Companies are increasingly stepping forward to offer jobs to those who served as ‘Agniveers’ in the army. According to the ‘Agniveer Scheme’, only 25% of those recruited into the army will receive full-time employment, while the remaining 75% will have to return after completing four years of service. Now, another company has come forward to offer immediate job opportunities for these individuals.
Previously, the Haryana state government announced a comprehensive plan for Agniveers. Now, the security service company, Crystal Integrated Services, has also declared that it will give priority to Agniveers in hiring.
What is Haryana Government’s Plan?
The Haryana government has announced a 10% reservation for Agniveers in various profiles such as police and mining guard. This means Agniveers will be given priority in these jobs. Additionally, the government has announced age relaxation and subsidies. For Group C and D jobs, Agniveers will receive a 3-year age relaxation, and a 5% reservation in Group C jobs.
Moreover, the government has stated that Agniveers will be provided with a 5 lakh rupees interest-free loan to start a business. Companies that offer a minimum salary of 30,000 rupees per month to Agniveers will receive an annual subsidy of 60,000 rupees from the government. They will also be provided with armed licenses.
Crystal’s Job Offer
Crystal Integrated Services has announced its eagerness to provide employment to Agniveers who have completed their four-year tenure with the army. CEO Sanjay Dighe mentioned that some talented Agniveers could earn a very good salary later. Companies like his can serve as a bridge between Agniveers and the corporate sector, which is looking for suitable candidates for securing high-investment business premises.
Sanjay Dighe stated that Agniveers will find profitable employment in the private sector. There is a high demand for such talents, and they won’t have to stay unemployed for even a week. Crystal has recently hired a senior military officer who has experience handling the Agniveer scheme during their service. The company currently employs over 5,800 security personnel.
