Sanju Samson might be given the opening responsibility
In the first T20 match against Bangladesh, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson might take up the opening responsibilities for India. Both players have opened for India in T20 Internationals before. Abhishek Sharma has scored 100 runs in 2 T20I matches while opening for India, which includes a century. Sanju Samson, on the other hand, has scored 77 runs while opening in 5 T20I matches. Hardik is proficient in both batting and bowling. Rinku Singh is expected to play the role of a finisher, as he is known for scoring quickly and hitting big sixes in the death overs. Shivam Dube might also be included in the playing eleven.
The pace attack is likely to be led by Arshdeep Singh, who performed exceptionally well for India in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Either Harshit Rana or Mayank Yadav could join him in the pace department, though neither of them has played a T20I match for India yet. Both Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya can contribute as medium-fast bowlers and bowl a few overs. In the spin department, Washington Sundar and Ravi Bishnoi could get a spot.
