PM Kisan Yojana: If you are a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, this news is for you. The 18th installment date has been mentioned on the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi website. According to the website, ₹2000 will be credited to farmers’ accounts on October 5. However, the number of beneficiaries might decrease this time. Reports suggest that about 9 crore farmers will receive the benefit this time. Farmers who haven’t followed the government’s rules have been excluded from the beneficiary list.
9.26 Crore Farmers Benefited Last Time
Earlier, on June 18, the 17th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi was transferred to the beneficiaries’ accounts. Around 9.26 crore farmers benefited from the scheme at that time. About 2.5 crore farmers were left out of the scheme’s benefits then. This time, the number is expected to remain the same. According to the Kisan Nidhi website, the money will be transferred to farmers’ accounts on October 5. However, no official announcement has been made by the department, but the website is considered reliable.
These Farmers Will Not Receive the Benefit
To receive the money from the PM Kisan Yojana in your account, e-KYC on the PM Kisan portal is mandatory. Those who haven’t completed e-KYC will face issues in receiving the scheme’s benefits. If you haven’t done e-KYC yet, you should do it immediately. You can complete your e-KYC on the PM Kisan portal using your mobile number and Aadhaar card with OTP. If e-KYC is not completed, you will be excluded from the scheme’s benefits.
Land Records Verification is Also Necessary
Farmers who haven’t completed land records verification must do it immediately, or else they will also be excluded from the scheme’s benefits. Additionally, linking your Aadhaar with your bank account is mandatory. Farmers who haven’t followed these three rules are being planned to be excluded from the benefits of the scheme.
