Vivo has reduced the price of its budget smartphone, the Y28s 5G, which was launched in July this year. This phone was introduced alongside the Vivo Y28e 5G. However, the company has not lowered the price of the Y28e. The Vivo Y28s 5G comes in three storage variants—4GB RAM + 128GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 128GB. It was initially launched at a starting price of ₹13,999.
New Price
Vivo has reduced the price of the Y28s 5G by ₹500. The phone is now available at a starting price of ₹13,499. The prices of the other two variants have also been revised to ₹14,999 and ₹16,499, down from their launch prices of ₹15,499 and ₹16,999, respectively. This affordable Vivo phone comes in Vintage Red and Twinkling Purple colors and is now listed at the new prices on the company’s official store as well as on e-commerce site Flipkart.
Vivo Y28s 5G Features
The Vivo Y28s 5G features a 6.56-inch LCD display that supports HD+ resolution. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of up to 840 nits. This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Vivo’s phone runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14. For connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W USB Type-C charging. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also included. The Vivo Y28s 5G comes with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP front camera.
